IN SYNTONY
In November 2025, Brazil will host the 30th UN Conference on Climate Change (COP30) in the state of Pará.

The COP, Conference of the Parties, is an annual meeting of representatives of countries who commit themselves to discussing climate change caused by human action, verifying the current reality of the planet and evaluating the results of actions to combat it.

The Conference took place for the first time in Berlin in 1995, with the aim of promoting negotiations to strengthen the adoption of initiatives at a global level in response to climate change.

Ecopsychology, a field that studies the relationship between human beings and the natural world, can be an ally in this discussion.

With the Congress, we propose to bring evidence to issues that will be discussed at COP30 from the perspective of this approach, considering its visions, practices and ethics.
